Southwest and CVG

Continuing to provide major gains for the region

CVG’s strategy to diversify carrier options and emphasize service that meets the needs of local passengers is continuing to provide major gains for the region with Southwest announcing plans to start service June 4. Southwest will initially offer 55 weekly flights with service to Baltimore/Washington (3x a day) and Chicago Midway (5x a day).

Travelers will have access to Southwest’s network of more than 100 cities across the US, Latin America and the Caribbean. Two gates in Concourse A are being refurbished in time for the inaugural flights.
