CVG $500 AIRFARE CONTEST
Fountain Square – November 2019 – February 2020 & RedsFest 2019
Contest begins the first week of November 2019 and runs through February 17, 2020. Participants can register to win using the designated entry form provided at CVGairport.com/win.
If any chosen entrant is determined to be ineligible or cannot be reached within 48 hours of the initial contact, the Prize will be forfeited, and another entrant's name will be chosen at random. Multiple or duplicate entries will be disqualified.
To be eligible individuals must be legal residents of the contiguous United States and 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Only one entry per person will be accepted. The following individuals are not eligible to participate or receive prizes: Employees, officers, directors and immediate family members of the Kenton County Airport Board. This includes any spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparents/children, step siblings/children, and in-laws or their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside, or member of the same household, whether or not related. Individuals who meet these requirements described above are Eligible Entrants.
Odds of winning depend on the number of Eligible Entrants. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are not received for any reason, or for entries that are received but are not decipherable for any reason. Sponsor will automatically disqualify any submission from a non-eligible individual and any incomplete or illegible entry.
All entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and any and all interpretations of these Rules and decisions of the contest judges, whose interpretations and decisions shall be final and binding in all respects. Entrants who do not comply with these Rules shall be disqualified.
A $500 airfare voucher for flights from CVG including, but not limited to, Delta Airlines, American Airlines, or Southwest Airlines. Other airlines may be made available in Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor will award a total of three vouchers: First winner announced in early December 2019. Second winner announced in early January 2020. Third winner announced by end of February 2020.
Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and not redeemable for cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize for another prize of equal or greater value. No purchase is necessary to win a prize.
Each Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes and fees/charges (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the Winner. The Winner must agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with the Prize.
Contest entrants agree to email communications from CVG Airport. They are free to opt out at any time. Their contact information will not be shared with any other parties.
Winner shall, within 24 hours of issuance of prize notification, provide KCAB with all eligibility information, i.e., proof of age and U.S. residency. In the event the Winner is unreachable for any reason, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner. In the event any alternate Winner fails to respond to any such prize notification, the alternate will be disqualified, and the Prize will be forfeited, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Failure to timely submit required documentation as described herein will result in disqualification and forfeiture of Prize.
Participation in or acceptance of a prize from any contest constitutes the Entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the contest rules. By participating in the contest, the Entrant represents and warrants that he/she has read, understood and agrees to be bound by these rules. By participating in the contest, Entrants waive any and all claims against the Sponsor and any and all other firms associated with the Contest, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in the Contest or from the receipt or use of any Prize.
Each entrant gives his or her express permission to be contacted by the Sponsor and/or its respective designees by phone or e-mail and can opt out of email notification at any time. The Winner, by acceptance of Prize, grants to the Sponsor and each of its respective designees the right to publicize such Winner's name, city and state of residence, photographs, voice, statements and/or other likeness and prize description without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees that the Released Parties are not responsible for stolen, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, lost, damaged, delayed or garbled entries, regardless of cause or reason. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Contest or attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intend to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor’s representatives will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. The Sponsor has the sole right to disqualify any entrant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Contest, and to resolve all disputes in the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Released Parties make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize, and disclaim any implied warranty. The Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Any disputes arising from or relating to the Contest must be brought in the District or Circuit Court in Boone County, Ky. or in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, Covington Division, as applicable. The Contest and these Rules shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to the rules of conflicts of law. In any such dispute, the party bringing the suit shall be entitled only to its actual damages, and shall not be entitled, under any circumstances, to any punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorney's fees and costs.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend, modify, cancel or suspend the Contest (or any portion thereof) for any reason. In the event of cancellation, the Sponsor may elect to identify a winner and award the prize by way of random drawing from among eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation.
