Allegiant Begins Service to Jacksonville

02/12/2015

Feb. 12, 2015 – Allegiant Travel Company begins new service to Jacksonville, FL today.

“As one of Allegiant’s fastest growing markets in their 15 year history, we are delighted Allegiant is continuing to expand at CVG,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. “With today’s expansion to Jacksonville, Allegiant will offer over 27 flights per week to eight different destinations.”

“Allegiant started service from CVG in February 2014, with service two times per week to Orlando and Tampa Bay,” said Wm.T. (Bill) Robinson III, Kenton County Airport Board Chairman. “Allegiant’s tremendous growth over the last year would not be possible without the support of the Tri-State region.”

“Allegiant couldn’t be more excited to offer Cincinnati residents yet another destination for CVG travelers,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice president of planning. “Florida’s ‘First Coast’ has long been a popular destination among local travelers, and we are pleased to offer our low fares and convenient non-stop travel to yet another prime leisure destination."

Passengers can travel to Jacksonville year round twice per week on Thursday and Sunday. Allegiant will operate the 177 seat A320 and the 166 seat MD 80. Tickets and vacation packages can be booked through Allegiant.com.
