May 7, 2018 – American Airlines is relocating its CVG operations to Concourse B effective, Tuesday morning, May 8 with all American flights using Concourse B gates 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26.
Ticket counter check-in and baggage service locations in the main terminal will not be impacted.
American serves more than 1.1 million passengers annually at CVG with more than 230 weekly flights and 34 peak-day departures. American serves eight destinations from CVG including Charlotte, Washington D.C. (DCA), Dallas (DFW), New York (JFK), New York (LGA), Miami, Chicago (ORD) and Philadelphia.
“American’s move to Concourse B is taking place to support a major ramp rehabilitation project on all Concourse A gates over the next two years,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG. “Both American and Delta have been good partners supporting this relocation to enable the construction project.”
All carriers remaining in Concourse A will experience temporary gate location changes throughout the two-year ramp rehabilitation project. The CVG staff and partner carriers are working closely to minimize disruption and making the guest experience unforgettably positive.
In conjunction with American’s move to Concourse B, CVG will be opening several additional concessions on the east side of the concourse. Hop & Cask, a new bourbon themed restaurant will open on May 8 as well as a familiar favorite Great American Bagel.
