Business Courier: American Airlines launches flight to Cancun from CVG

American Airlines will start its new service from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to Cancun, Mexico, Saturday, Dec. 9.
It's the first international destination served by American at the airport. American has gradually been growing its service at CVG over the past few years.
The flight, first announced in June, leaves weekly on Saturdays and operates through March 30, 2024. It departs CVG at 11:45 a.m. and arrives in Cancun at 2:58 p.m. The return flight leaves Cancun at 4 p.m. and arrives at CVG at 7:26 p.m.
CVG has seen its nonstop Cancun flights 74% full from 2022 to 2023, according to Bureau of Transportation statistics compiled by the Business Courier.
