Business Courier: CVG ranks No. 14 among world's largest cargo airports

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport’s cargo traffic has propelled it to a new ranking in the world among airports with that major business line.
CVG is now the world’s 14th-largest cargo airport, an improvement from last year when it ranked 20th, according to airport officials.
The airport remains the seventh-largest cargo airport in North America.
“Certainly CVG is starting to get its footprint on a global scale,” said Bobby Spann, vice president for air service development. “We weren’t in the top 30 a few years ago."
In April, 179,240 tons of cargo landed at the airport, up 25% over the same month in 2022. For the year, cargo tonnage is up 11.5%.
