Frontier Airlines Expands Service from CVG
10/09/2013
Oct. 9, 2014 — Frontier Airlines today announced new nonstop service from CVG to Trenton, NJ.
This new service will begin Feb. 12 with flights to Trenton on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Northeast is one of the more popular travel regions for our business and leisure customers.
“We are proud to offer this new nonstop service to Trenton for our business and leisure passengers in the region. This gives our passengers another entry point into the Philadelphia, Newark and Allentown markets. This is another positive step in growing our local passenger base,” said Candace S. McGraw, chief executive officer of CVG.
Frontier Airlines is a low-cost airline that operates from a primary hub at Denver International Airport. This new service will operate on spacious 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft, which offer more customer amenities. Flights on Frontier from CVG can be booked at FlyFrontier.com.
To celebrate this new service Frontier is offering introductory fares as low as $39 each way, available for purchase through Oct. 20, 2013 at FlyFrontier.com.
“This is a great day for us at Frontier as we provide passengers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region a convenient, low-fare option now to the east and west,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's senior vice president, commercial.
Kenton County Airport Board Chairman James Huff expects the additional service to be welcomed by both business and leisure passengers. “Thanks to the region's commitment to Frontier, this new flight is made possible by the early success Frontier received when they launched service to Denver in May 2013.”
