May 17, 2018 — Today marks the 5th anniversary of Frontier Airlines at CVG. To celebrate Frontier is giving away two roundtrip ticket vouchers to five lucky passengers on each of its 11 flights today. Other festivities will be taking place at the gates throughout the day. 

“Our commitment to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky community runs deep. It has been the continued support from the airport, local leaders and most importantly the community that allows us to continue to expand our service and make flying affordable,” said Richard Oliver, spokesperson for Frontier Airlines. “We are proud to continue to serve the surrounding Tri-State area with our Low Fares Done Right philosophy.”

The low-fare carrier was the first of the ultra-low-cost brands to operate at CVG, which started service on May 17, 2013 with six weekly flights to Denver. Frontier now offers service to 19 destinations from CVG with more than 80 weekly flights. Known for its family-friendly branding and iconic animal characters on its aircraft tails, Frontier has served more than three million passengers over the last five years at CVG.
