Innovative Carrier Opens Key Route for Corporate Travelers

October 19, 2016 — OneJet (www.OneJet.com), the air transportation network that provides increased access to nonstop travel in small and medium size markets, today launched its newest route between Pittsburgh (PIT) and Cincinnati (CVG). Cincinnati joins a growing list of OneJet served cities from Pittsburgh, including Hartford, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Milwaukee.

Flights between Pittsburgh and Cincinnati will operate on the following schedule, Monday through Friday:

  • Pittsburgh to Cincinnati – Departing 7:30am and arriving 8:30am
  • Cincinnati to Pittsburgh – Departing 8:50am and arriving 9:45am
  • Pittsburgh to Cincinnati – Departing 4:30pm and arriving 5:30pm
  • Cincinnati to Pittsburgh – Departing 5:50pm and arriving 6:45pm

The service provides a key transportation link for business travelers from both communities, including those from PNC Bank, an existing OneJet client with major operations in Pittsburgh. The company currently serves more than 10 Fortune 500 clients in various regions.

The service launch follows OneJet’s announcement of its expansion at Pittsburgh International Airport, which included an increase of 10 nonstop routes to be deployed through 2017. OneJet’s service includes TSA Pre access for eligible customers, expedited boarding, as well as complimentary high-speed WIFI on board.

“With this service expansion, we’re thrilled to offer a continued increase in nonstop connectivity for both our corporate and general business customers in both markets,” said Matthew Maguire, OneJet’s Chief Executive Officer. “The Pittsburgh-Cincinnati route has been one of the most highly requested by our clients and we look forward to being part of both cities’ continued growth.”

“We’re happy that Cincinnati is now part of the growing air service network at Pittsburgh International Airport,” Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald said. “The service provided by OneJet serves our region’s businesses and makes our region even more competitive as we fill the needs of our business and leisure travelers.”

“This announcement adds to the growing momentum of flight options at Pittsburgh International Airport. Markets like Cincinnati are important and have demand for service but are not being served by traditional legacy carriers,” Allegheny County Airport Authority CEO Christina Cassotis said. “OneJet is an important partner with us, and we look forward to even more announcements as we move forward together.”

“Pittsburgh is a very important business market to companies in the Greater Cincinnati region, and we’re excited that OneJet is now providing twice daily nonstop service,” said Candace McGraw, CEO, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
