Local 12's cameras were there as the latest Tri-State Honor Flight returned. Vets got to spend a day in Washington D.C. to visit their memorials.

Mike Igel, who served in the Marines during the Vietnam War, says he was moved to tears by the trip and big welcome home.

"We knew a couple people would be here, but nothing like this, honestly. It just takes you back to what you didn't get in the '60s," Igel said.

The next Honor Flight leaves CVG on May 24.
