WLWT-TV 5: Greater Cincinnati veterans return to CVG Airport for first Honor Flight in 2 years

The first Honor Flight in two years will be taking off from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Tuesday.
Honor Flights have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but are making a return this year.
Greater Cincinnati veterans and their guardians will get to see their memorials in Washington and participate in ceremonies that honor their service to their country. Their trip on Tuesday will include visits to the World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Iwo Jima, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the US Air Force Memorial and other Washington sights.
