About The Hangar

Named for the long-time University Pilot, the Bob Younts hangar is insulated with temperatures remaining above 40 degrees in the winter and staying 20 degrees cooler than air temperatures in the summer. Natural gas-fed heaters will also ensure a smooth start in the winter for those bitterly cold days. Built from local AK Steel, this 4500 sq ft construction includes a bi-fold electric door, a 40-foot modified opening, ample lighting and electric outlets, and sealed concrete floors.
