Passengers flying on United’s CVG-Chicago route today may be on the jet.Eventually, every United flight to those markets will be on a plane with a first-class cabin. Business travelers from CVG often connect internationally on those flights, and they want the premium experience on their entire trip, United officials said.The jets also will offer wireless Internet service and roller bag storage for every passenger aboard. FOX 19: Gearing up for Thanksgiving holiday travel

The most popular destinations for Cincinnati residents include Las Vegas, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Los Angeles.Airport officials at CVG expect a 6 percent increase in travel over last year, meaning there will be over 200,000 passengers arriving and departing during the holiday week.The day before Thanksgiving is typically the busiest travel day of the year. Frontier Airlines Expands to 21 Destinations from Cincinnati with New Nonstop Flights to New Orleans

Airfares remain lowest in region as CVG serves more local passengers than ever before

Among the top 100 U.S. domestic airports, CVG ranked #74 with an average fare of $346; five percent below the national average of $364. WCPO: Air cargo niche at CVG continues to expand, which means good things for local job seekers

"A little more flexibility," she said.Fortunately, she lives near Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport and has a scientific background in quality assurance.
